Ontario - MRP Regional Engagement Session - Toolbox Training

Join us for a practical, hands-on, interactive training where participants will explore FHRMIRA and the Provisional Federal Rules (PFRs), family homes and occupancy on reserve, housing policy considerations, and real-life scenarios. Understanding and working with Matrimonial Real Property (MRP) in First Nations Housing Toolbox is a practical guide that will support governance, housing and lands staff in understanding and managing matrimonial real property on reserve. It will provide clear guidance, tools, and templates to support fair and consistent decisions and the implementation of MRP laws or policies. The toolbox includes a workbook, training deck and resources, as well as interactive activities and case studies. Travel stipends are available for eligible participants, and with limited seating, early registration is encouraged. The deadline to apply for this event is Friday, July 31st, 2026.
