Mercedes Sandy is a dedicated housing professional and proud member of Beausoleil First Nation, located in Central Ontario. She brings over five years of experience in Indigenous housing, having served her community in a variety of roles. Her areas of expertise include project management, asset management, data collection, building science, and energy efficiency systems.

Mercedes holds a Certificate in Office Administration from Loyalist College (2021) and a Certificate in Home Inspection from Algonquin College (2023). She is passionate about supporting Indigenous communities in building the skills, knowledge, and systems needed to lead and sustain their own housing initiatives.
