2026 Annual General Meeting
Notice to FNHPA Voting Members
FNHPA Voting Members in good standing are invited to attend the First Nations Housing Professionals Association (FNHPA) 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM provides members with an opportunity to receive important updates on the Association, consider the business of the organization, and exercise their voting rights as FNHPA members.
Annual General Meeting Details
Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026
Time: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
Location: Le Westin Montréal – Montreal, Québec
The AGM will take place during the FNHPA 5th Annual National Conference, being held October 14–16, 2026.

AGM Business
In accordance with FNHPA's By-laws and policies, only the business identified in the notice and AGM agenda may be transacted at the meeting.

Voting Eligibility
Each FNHPA Voting Member in good standing is entitled to one vote at the AGM. To be eligible to vote, all applicable membership dues or fees must be paid. If you are unsure on the status of your membership, you can login to your membership profile through our website (include link). If you have any questions or require assistance, please email membership@fnhpa.ca .
A quorum of at least 20 voting members is required to open the meeting.
Unable to Attend? Vote by Proxy
Voting members who are unable to attend the AGM may appoint another FNHPA member, in good standing, from their region to vote on their behalf using the official FNHPA Proxy Form.
Completed and signed proxy forms must be filed with the FNHPA Secretary-Treasurer at least one business day before the AGM. Please submit proxy forms to: farren@fnhpa.ca
Proxy submission deadline: Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 4:30pm EDT
A proxy is valid only for the meeting for which it is provided, including any adjournment of that meeting.
Attendance
Attendance at the AGM is limited to individuals entitled to attend under FNHPA's By-laws, including voting members, members of the Board of Directors, the Association's public accountant, and other individuals invited or otherwise entitled to attend.
FNHPA members attending the Annual National Conference are encouraged to join us for this important annual meeting.
