Welcome to the First Nations Housing Professionals Association (FNHPA) Member Information page.
As part of our commitment to supporting First Nations housing professionals, we collect select demographic and professional information from our members. This information helps us better understand our membership, improve programs and services, advocate effectively on your behalf, and report on the impact of our work to partners and funders.
What Information We Collect & Why
The information collected may include details such as your work experience, education, occupation, and other optional demographic information. This data is used in an aggregated and anonymized format to:
- Enhance member services and programming
- Inform training, certification, and professional development opportunities
- Support funding proposals and reporting requirements
- Strengthen advocacy efforts for First Nations housing professionals
Providing this information is voluntary, and you may choose to skip any questions you prefer not to answer.
How Your Information is Stored and Used
Your information is securely stored within FNHPA’s membership systems and is only accessible to authorized staff. Individual responses are not shared publicly. Data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above or as required by applicable policies and regulations.

Commitment to OCAP® and Data Sovereignty
FNHPA respects and upholds the principles of Ownership, Control, Access, and Possession (OCAP®) and is committed to First Nations data sovereignty. This means that information shared by First Nations members is treated with respect, care, and accountability, and is used in ways that benefit First Nations communities. We strive to ensure that data is collected, managed, and used in alignment with these principles at all times.

By continuing, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the information above and provide your consent to the First Nations Housing Professionals Association (FNHPA) to collect, use, and store your information for the purposes outlined herein.
Membership Terms & Conditions
Membership with FNHPA is offered on an annual basis, April 1st to March 31st, for a fee of $150 for Candidate members and $150 for Certified Members.
An individual shall be considered for eligibility of membership in FNHPA upon application. Final approval of the application and any renewals of membership are subject to the review.
Membership payment:
New and renewing members can make payments on-line by clicking here, or by mail to the National Office.
Currency of Transaction:
All transaction will be processed in Canadian dollars.
Refund policy:
FNHPA memberships are non-refundable and are not transferable.
