Housing and Wellness Program
The Housing and Wellness Program supports First Nations communities by recognizing the strong connection between housing and overall well-being. Safe, healthy, and well-maintained homes can positively impact physical health, mental wellness, safety, and quality of life.
Our program develops practical guides, tools, and resources for a variety of audiences, including youth, tenants and occupants, housing staff, and households. These resources are designed to build knowledge, strengthen skills, and support healthy homes and communities.
By addressing housing through a wellness lens, the program helps promote prevention, education, and long-term community well-being.
